WHAT DOES THE JOB ENTAIL?
As HR Manager, you are responsible for a pragmatic HR policy, supporting and advising management on HR needs in daily operational practice. You will be responsible for an HR team spread across two locations. You will act as a bridge between Payroll & Admin and Comp & Ben (hard HR) based in Koekelare and soft HR based in Waregem.
Key responsibilities
- You will oversee a pragmatic and results-oriented HR policy, in line with the expectations and ambitions of the business. You will act as a sparring partner for the group and provide HR advice at the request of various companies within the Pollet Group, both nationally and internationally.
- You will facilitate efficient and effective administration and payroll and oversee a smooth recruitment and selection process, with a view to providing optimal support to the business. You will optimise where possible.
- You will inspire and motivate your team, consisting of two payroll Xprts, one comp & ben Xprt, one HR BP and one recruitment Xprt, acting as a link between hard and soft HR across the two locations.
- You provide advice ranging from quality recruitment to insight into wage costs to building performance files, etc.
- You roll up your sleeves for HR projects and contribute to their smooth implementation.
- You continue to build a strong organisational culture and actively contribute to promoting the Pollet Group’s DNA.
- You will report to the HR & Legal Director and be part of the Pollet Group management committee.
Profile
- You have a master’s degree and at least 10 years of expertise in various HR positions. You feel at home in an HR advisory/consultancy role for various stakeholders.
- You can draw on several years of experience in recruitment and selection and at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner. Experience in talent development is a plus.
- You are both solution-oriented and service-oriented, with a clear advisory and pragmatic attitude. You achieve results in a people-oriented and reliable manner.
- Thanks to your authentic communication style and empathy, you act as a confidant for management and employees.
- You can switch between all levels of the organisation. You work smoothly with various internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate the discretion required for this role.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English and you also dare to speak French.
- Your office is in Waregem and Koekelare, but you will also visit our companies on site.
- You love chocolate and don’t forget to treat your colleagues 😉.
