About the job
As a VAT Accountant, you are an essential link within our finance department. You provide broad support and advice to our sister companies and colleagues on various financial, compliance and VAT-related matters, both for domestic and foreign branches. You also perform the regular tasks of an accountant, such as payroll processing and monthly closures.

Profile
- You combine a bachelor’s degree in accountancy & taxation or a master’s degree with preferably several years of relevant work experience.
- You have excellent knowledge of VAT and Intrastat legislation, and are willing to keep up-to-date via seminars and training courses.
- You have strong analytical skills and a passion for digital innovation.
- You can work fluently in Excel. Knowledge of ERP packages, Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Exact Online are an asset, but we will of course provide the necessary training.
- You have strong communication skills and maintain good contact with all stakeholders, both in Belgium and internationally. You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
- You are a positive team player who respects deadlines. Even in busy periods you know how to keep an overview.
