About the job
As Payroll XPRT, you will join an energetic HR team of 5 colleagues. This is not your average payroll role 😉; You will become an expert for our many different entities, support in the growth of our group (through acquisitions), and contribute to the further professionalization of HR. - Alongside your colleagues, you will handle payroll and administration for 500 employees (workers & office staff) and be the first point of contact for employees and their managers. You will work in collaboration with Acerta as the social secretariat.
- In addition to calculating wages, you will handle administrative tasks such as drafting employment contracts, managing Dimona declarations, timekeeping, fleet management, insurance, and various social documents.
- You will support managers in operational personnel management and report on matters such as absenteeism, sickness, and workplace accidents.
- You will optimize and automate procedures and payroll processes where possible.
- By staying constantly informed about the latest developments in your field, you ensure that your knowledge remains up-to-date.
Profile
- A bachelor’s degree and initial relevant experience in payroll form a solid foundation for this role.
- Knowledge of Belgian social legislation is essential, and experience as a payroll employee in a large company or social secretariat is an advantage. Experience with HR Connect (Acerta) is a plus.
- Precision, discretion, and finishing tasks in detail characterize your working method.
- With your hands-on mentality and drive, you effortlessly handle a large number of cases. Even during busier periods, you meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- You are a team player but can also work independently well. Multitasking is not a problem for you.
- Customer orientation is in your DNA; you think along with the business and can provide clear advice.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and/or English is a must.
