About the job
To provide our customers with the best possible service, we are looking for an additional Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing dialysis equipment and water treatment systems. You will work on-site at hospitals and dialysis centers, primarily in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Carrying out installations, preventive maintenance, quality checks, and repairs of medical equipment (dialysis machines, water treatment systems).
- Acting as a technical troubleshooter by identifying issues in equipment or installations and providing effective solutions.
- Collecting water and dialysate samples.
- Managing the inventory of service parts.
- Serving as the central point of contact for customers (doctors, nurses, technicians), providing regular technical updates and support.
- Keeping technical documentation and records up to date, including maintenance and quality reports.
- Collaborating with internal teams (back office, sales) to deliver optimal customer service.
Profile
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical or medical field or have equivalent experience.
- You have an affinity for electricity, pneumatics, mechanics, automation, control systems, and software. Comprehensive training on our medical equipment will be provided.
- You enjoy working independently but with a team-oriented and collegial approach. As a service engineer, you are solution- and goal-oriented and can prioritize effectively.
- You can communicate fluently in Dutch, English, or French.
- You are customer-oriented and able to maintain professional relationships with clients. Excellent customer service is your top priority!
- You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality and are willing to work throughout Belgium & Luxembourg.
